Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Peoria County, Pekin, North Pekin, South Pekin, and Marquette Heights. Those working for one of our Select Employee Groups qualify for membership as well.Once you establish that you qualify for membership you can open your Primary Share Account. This required account has a minimun $25 balance requirement.
With this account open, you are officially a member! You qualify for all of our services. Some of these include Automated Services, Electronic, Deposit, and Lending Services. For detailed information on any of these and other services please check out our services.
Becoming a member is easy. Just stop into any of our three locations to open your Primary Share Account. To open this account, you must deposit at least the $25 minimum balance and pay a one time membership fee of $1.When coming in to open your account, please remember we must be in compliance with the recently passed Patriot Act. You must have a valid form of Photo I.D.(State I.D., Driver's License, or Firearm's Card) as well as at least one other form of identification (preferably photo as well). For children, a school I.D. Card is perfect; however, if one is not available, a social security card is acceptable.
Once you have your Primary Share Account open, you are officially a member and can apply for any other service at this time. Loan applicants may be able to leave the office on the first visit with a check! If you are applying for a loan, please remember to bring all pertinent information. For instance, if you are applying for a vehicle loan it will save you time to come in with the VIN number, mileage, and options on the vehicle you are wishing to purchase. It will also help you to bring current account information on other debts you have outstanding.
Employees for our Select Employee Groups enjoy extra benefits with their membership. If your employer chooses to participate (free of cost, of course!) you can have a portion of your pay deposited to your accounts at the Credit Union. Don't mistake this service as Direct Deposit though, payroll deduction allows you to make deposits to specialized savings accounts or even make loan payments without having to think about it every month.
